I Love Lucy was a very popular situation comedy on TV from 1951 to 1955. The program produced a pilot radio episode on February 27, 1952, but it never made it to the airwave. The single episode was a sample radio show created by editing the soundtrack of the television episode "Breaking the Lease."

I Love Lucy starred Lucille Ball, one of Americans' favorite actresses, who also starred Liz Cugat in My Favorite Husband with Richard Denning as the husband.
